This has become a tradition in my family! Each year, we go Christmas tree hunting as a family! When we find the perfect tree, we cut it down and bring it home. We also cut about 1/2 inch from the trunk and make an ornament out of it. These are our ornaments from the past two Christmases!
First, I sanded it on both sides. Then my husband drilled a hole in the top. I wrote the year on one side and hung it up with some string. Easy, Peasy! Inspired by Pinterest
It would be fun to put a picture of the family of that Christmas year on the other side..
