I enjoy making things, anything from handmade wedding cards to DIY laundry soap. The things I blog about are inspired from Pinterest, Facebook, and other blogs. I do not take full credit for the things I make.

Quiet Book: Shoe Laces
I used white and blue felt for the shoe, glued together with hot glue. Then I hole punched eight holes, four on each side. Then I hot glued eight grommets, or eyelets, into the hole. Then I weaved crafting cord through the holes. I believe an actual shoe lace would work better though. The cord was a little thick, making it hard to tie.
DIY Wedding Flower Wreath
I had tons of extra flowers from the cake, the centerpieces, boutonnieres and corsages.
I didn't know what to do with them, so I turned them into a wreath for my front door.
I took all of my extra flowers that I used for my wedding and I hot glued them onto a Styrofoam wreath. It was easy and cheap!
