DIY Fourth of July Banner

DIY Fourth of July Banner. Yarn, patriotic scrapbook paper, and red and white tulle is all that is needed for this craft. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Easter Bunny Craft for Kids

Easter bunny craft for kids. I painted my son's hands and feet and placed them on paper. I set it aside to dry. I then drew an outline of the bunny on card stock and then took cotton balls and glued them on the outline. After the paint and glue dried, I glued the googly eyes, the heart shaped nose, the paper whiskers, and the hand and foot prints on the cotton. It turned out super cute!

DIY Menu Board

This DIY menu board helps me to stay organized. I bought a $3 picture frame from a thrift shop store and painted the frame purple. I cut out the letters with my Cricut and glued them onto scrapbook paper. I glued the paper between the glass and the cardboard. It was easy and cheap! This idea was inspired by Pinterest.

Personalized Baby Blocks

Personalized baby blocks. I made these for my baby boy. I took a board that was 4" x 4" thick and was 30 inches long and cut them into three separate blocks . The bottom block is 12" long, the middle block is 10" long, and the top block is 8" long. I sanded each block down and painted them an off white, like an ivory color. Then I measured different scrapbook paper and glued it to the different blocks using Mod Podge. Then I cut out the letters with my Cricut and Mod Podged them on each block. I used wood glue to glue the blocks together. And then I wrapped it up with brown ribbon. This idea was inspired by Pinterest.

Baby Shadow Box

Baby shadow box. I made this for my baby boy. It is a shadow box containing my first ultrasound picture, his blanket from the hospital, his first binkie, his hospital bracelet, the hat he wore in the hospital, a newborn sized diaper, and a pair of socks that he quickly grew out of. I've also seen shadow boxes with the first letter of the baby's name in the corner, a newborn onesie, and even the baby's blessing outfit. This Idea was inspired by Pinterest.
